A welcoming and dynamic primary school in Amersham is seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team from October. Renowned for its warm, community-focused ethos, the school is committed to delivering excellence in early childhood education.
As the EYFS Teacher, you will cultivate a safe, engaging environment where children feel empowered to explore, learn, and grow. You will design and deliver imaginative, hands-on learning experiences that align with the EYFS curriculum, supporting each child''s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
About the Role:
- Design and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework
- Observe, assess, and support childrenandrsquo;s individual developmental progress and milestones
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes independence, curiosity, and kindness
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff, and parents to support each childandrsquo;s growth
- Build and maintain positive, open communication with families
- Contribute actively to school initiatives, enrichment activities, and ongoing professional development
The ideal candidate will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); Early Years specialism is highly desirable
- Proven experience working within EYFS or nursery settings
- In-depth understanding of child development and the EYFS statutory framework
- Creative, enthusiastic, and patient teaching approach tailored to young learners
- Strong communication, organisation, and collaborative working skills
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
