This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance, helping to keep homes safe, secure and well maintained.The RoleThe External Works Operative will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of external maintenance and repair works, including:Fencing repairs and installationsBrickwork and minor masonry repairsGroundworks and external hard landscapingRoofing and roofline repairsGuttering, fascias and soffitsDiagnosing repairs and identifying associated worksCompleting pre-inspections where requiredRecording completed works, materials and job information using a handheld deviceMaintaining high standards of health and safety at all timesRequirementsProven experience carrying out external repairs and maintenance within domestic properties, ideally in the social housing sectorStrong skills in fencing, brickwork, roofing, roofline repairs, guttering and groundworksThe ability to diagnose repair issues and identify effective solutionsExperience working safely at height and using power tools and appropriate PPEThe ability to manage their own workload and consistently deliver work to a high standardGood communication and customer service skillsConfidence using handheld technology to record work ..... full job details .....
