Export Operator - Multi Modal

oble Recruiting are looking for an experienced Export Operator with Multi Modal experience across Air, Road and Sea to join an established and renowned Freight and Logistics global provider based in Basildon, Essex. Salary: 32,000 per annum Working hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday Free parking available for you Responsibilities/Duties: Manage all daily Export bookings, manage clients and key accounts. Liaise with Sales and other related departments to monitor new and existing business across Export and Cross Trade. Oversee and coordinate multi-modal export shipments, ensuring timely delivery across all transportation modes including sea, air and road. Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and other relevant export standards to ensure all shipments meet legal requirements. Liaise with 3PL providers, carriers, customs authorities, and internal departments to facilitate smooth export operations. Negotiate rates and terms with logistics providers to optimise cost-efficiency while maintaining high service standards. Maintain detailed records of export transactions, shipment statuses, and compliance documentation for audit purposes. Booking and handling of general EXPORT bookings and enquiries. Managing collections/overseas deliveries and customs documents. Invoicing for Export and Cross Trade department in a timely manner. Negotiating with suppliers for competitive prices.
