Junior Export Operator - Freight Forwarding - Thurrock About the Company Our client is a UK-based NVOCC (non-vessel operating common carrier), handling groupage and consolidated LCL sea freight, both import and export. They work with customers and overseas agents across a wide range of destinations. The position is office based within their export team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn the freight forwarding business properly. Reporting to the export team, the successful candidate will start by supporting the experienced operators on the desk and assisting the documentation supervisor, taking on more of the work as they learn, with the potential to progress to handling their own trade lane. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in freight forwarding and shipping, with excellent attention to detail and the sense to ask questions when unsure rather than guess. Full training will be provided, and no prior freight experience is required.
