Applications without relevant recent school experience will not be considered.The Role: Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small-group basis Assisting teachers with learning activities Supporting Maths, English, reading and phonics Helping pupils access the curriculum Supporting children with SEND and additional needs Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom routines Supporting interventions and targeted activities Helping pupils develop confidence and independence Working closely with teachers and wider support staff Monitoring and feeding back on pupil progressThe Ideal Candidate: Recent practical UK school experience within the last 2 years Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant Confident supporting primary-aged children Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Patient, reliable and adaptable Good communication and teamwork skills Strong understanding of safeguarding Passionate about supporting children''s learningWhy Work with Aspire People?
