Events Team Manager

Events Team Manager Competitive Range, up to £60,000 Perm ASAP Start - 3 days in the office Birmingham, West Midlands Your role will be responsible for the line management, development and day-to-day leadership of the UK Events Team, alongside direct responsibility for the planning and delivery of key events. This is a "doer-leader" role, reflecting the current size and maturity of the team. You will be expected to lead from the front, remaining actively involved in the delivery of events while taking accountability for team performance, coordination and output. The team is responsible for the planning and implementation of internal and external events within the Medical Sector, including activity at our Medical Education Centre, national congresses, company events and mobile labs. You will directly manage the events team and ensure all activity is delivered in line with the agreed business strategy. What you''ll do: Take overall responsibility for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of UK events. Lead and prioritise team workloads across multiple concurrent events, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Personally lead the delivery of key, complex or high-profile events where required. Coordinate end-to-end event activity, including course planning, administration, travel arrangements, logistics and post-event follow-up.
