About The Role
London Stadium is seeking an Event Manager to join the team and support the Head of Operations with various event and commercial operations, including major events, filming, and other operational needs. This role involves assisting with the annual transition of the stadium for our summer event programme, as well as supporting our community track and external park teams in event operations within adjoining spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in venue events management, with experience in contract management, forecasting, event planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
The role includes liaising with event and filming project managers, production teams, and health and safety personnel to ensure efficient planning and delivery of venue events. Responsibilities span from project initiation to post-event reporting and debriefing. Experience with safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements is essential.
The successful candidate will have a positive, proactive attitude, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently on multiple projects while managing time effectively.
