This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team working on some of the UK''s most interesting construction schemes.The RoleYou will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive tenders for a range of civil engineering works. Working closely with operational and commercial teams, you''ll analyse tender documents, produce cost estimates and Bills of Quantities, assess risks, and engage with clients and the supply chain to deliver high-quality submissions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering and highways projectsProduce take-offs and Bills of QuantitiesPrice works from first principlesReview tender documents and raise queries where requiredAssess project risks and opportunitiesObtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotationsSupport tender programme developmentLiaise with clients and internal teams during the tender processWhat We''re Looking ForProven experience as an Estimator in civil engineering/highwaysStrong site background within civil engineering projectsKnowledge of Specification for Highway Works (SHW) and Sewers for AdoptionExperience with estimating software (e.g. Conquest)Strong commercial awareness and analytical ..... full job details .....
