Estimator - Thermal Management Systems Location: East Midlands / UK (Commutable from Leicestershire/Derbyshire/Warwickshire) Package: up to £52k (DOE) + International Group Benefits Employment Type: New Permanent Opportunity The Opportunity We are looking for a technical Estimator who can bridge the gap between complex thermal design and commercial reality. This isn''t a "generic" estimating role; it requires a deep technical understanding of heat exchanger architecture and the engineering judgment to turn high-level specifications into profitable, high-precision proposals. The Role: What You''ll Do As a central figure in the engineering and proposals team, you will transform customer requirements into accurate cost models for custom-engineered projects. Technical Estimation: Translate technical drawings, PandIDs, and mechanical requirements into detailed quotations. Thermal Design Support: Size and design heat exchangers using AspenTech and other specialist engineering tools to inform your estimates. Project Scoping: Estimate costs for materials, fabrication, welding, machining, and logistics for bespoke engineering projects. Risk Assessment: Evaluate manufacturability, technical scope, and margins to ensure bids are both competitive and profitable. Collaboration: Act as the technical link between Procurement, Sales, and Production throughout the bid lifecycle.
