HV Electrical EstimatorRemote (2 days per month in Bury St Edmunds or Sheffield)£65,000 (flexible for the right candidate) VIQU have partnered with a rapidly growing Independent Connection Provider delivering high-voltage electrical infrastructure for commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects. With a strong reputation in the market and ambitious growth plans, they are investing heavily in their pre-construction and estimating capability.They are seeking a High Voltage Electrical Estimator to support the delivery of accurate, competitive, and technically robust estimates across 11kV 132kV projects.The Role This is a primarily remote position with minimal office travel, offering excellent flexibility. You ll play a key role in the estimating function, working closely with commercial and delivery teams while also supporting and mentoring junior estimators.Key Responsibilities Produce and review cost estimates for HV projects (11kV 132kV)Ensure compliance with DNO/IDNO standards and G81 requirementsSupport and develop junior members of the estimating teamPrepare cost packs, margin approvals, and cashflow forecastsContribute to bid strategy and attend tender meetingsReview market rates and liaise with supply chain partners Experience Required Proven experience as an HV Estimator (ICP, DNO, or iDNO background preferred)Strong HV knowledge (33kV minimum, ideally up to 132kV)Good understanding of DNO/IDNO standards and G81Strong commercial awareness and cost control ..... full job details .....
