Apply below after reading through all the details and supporting information regarding this job opportunity.Job Title: Estimator – Acoustic SystemsJob reference Number: 744494-9937-25240Industry Sector: Estimator, Sales Estimator, Technical Estimator, Internal Sales, Technical Sales, Soundproofing, Acoustics, Acoustic Underlay, Independent Walls, Acoustic Plasterboard, Sound Absorption, Acoustic Underscreed, Independent Ceiling, Acoustic Mineral Wool, Gym Acoustics, Floating Floors, Soundproof Wall Boards, Vibration ControlLocation: Leeds or surrounding areasRemuneration: £30,000 - £40,000 + commission schemeBenefits: NEST pension, Bupa health care, 20 days annual leaveThe role of the Estimator – Acoustic Systems will involve:Estimator position, dealing with a high end range of manufactured soundproofing systems such as: acoustic walls, acoustic ceilings, acoustic screens and bespoke systemsReview tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand scope and requirementsPrepare formal quotations and submit within required timeframesWork with the sales team to support bids and tenders, providing technical and pricing inputSupport negotiations with customers on pricing, specification changes, and value engineering optionsUpdate and manage estimating software, price lists, and standard product costing modelsEstimating for projects ranging in value from £50k up to circa £2mThe ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Acoustic Systems with:Must have experience as an Estimator within the construction / manufacturing market sector OR within Technical Sales dealing with acoustics, partitions, ceilings, wall covers, panels, construction fabrics, or anything involving reflected ceilings plans (RCPS)Ideally will have an understanding of ceilings, partitions, fit-out, panels and acousticsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalIT literate (Microsoft Office, with a sound understanding of Excel)Technically minded individual with strong numerical skillsWilling to learn and adapt to new ..... full job details .....
