Estimator

An excellent opportunity is now available for an Estimator to join a well-established Main Construction Contractor based in Glasgow. They work across a variety of sectors such as Community, Health/ Care and Education and always complete projects to the highest of standards whether it is a new build, conservation or refurbishment project. It is important that you possess Main Contract Estimating experience and have worked across multiple sectors for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Compile bids and tenders for new work.
• Identify and recommend ways to reduce costs.
• Prepare and analyse cost estimates.
• Calculate costs of materials, transport, labour and equipment hire.
• Work with subcontractors and obtain quotes.
• Collate detailed price lists.
• Follow all health and safety requirements.
• Present bids or estimates to clients when required.
• Prepare and submit final quotations for work.

Must:

• Have previous Main Contract Estimating experience.
