Estimator (Civils)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and friendly professional to join our team at Daniel Charles Construction Limited. We’re a privately-owned business with strong roots in Lincolnshire, known for delivering high-quality Civil Engineering projects across the region.

You’ll play an important role in helping us deliver a wide range of interesting and varied projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Handling multiple projects, including civil engineering, oversite and building works
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings to take off quantities
• Reviewing tender documents and preparing subcontractor and material enquiries
• Producing bills of quantities
• Risk and value management
• Preparing budgets, cost plans and estimates
• Working independently to deliver accurate, competitive tenders
• Applying your understanding of CDM Health & Safety, modern construction methods and contract requirements

We’re seeking someone who not only has the technical skills but also fits our team culture. You should bring:

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• A methodical and organised approach
• Strong communication skills
• Confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines
• A positive team-working attitude
• Experience with Conquest Software (advantageous – training available)
• Experience within the Highways / Civil Engineering industry
