Estimator (Civils)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and friendly professional to join our team at Daniel Charles Construction Limited. We re a privately-owned business with strong roots in Lincolnshire, known for delivering high-quality Civil Engineering projects across the region. You ll play an important role in helping us deliver a wide range of interesting and varied projects. Your responsibilities will include: Handling multiple projects, including civil engineering, oversite and building works Reading and interpreting construction drawings to take off quantities Reviewing tender documents and preparing subcontractor and material enquiries Producing bills of quantities Risk and value management Preparing budgets, cost plans and estimates Working independently to deliver accurate, competitive tenders Applying your understanding of CDM Health and Safety, modern construction methods and contract requirements We re seeking someone who not only has the technical skills but also fits our team culture. You should bring: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office A methodical and organised approach Strong communication skills Confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines A positive team-working attitude Experience with Conquest Software (advantageous training available) Experience within the Highways / Civil Engineering industry If you re enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoy being part of a supportive team, we d love to hear from you.
