Estates Surveyor
Estate Surveyor Based in London, hybrid working Inside IR35 Length: 3 months initially This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused surveyor with strong Landlord and Tenant expertise to take responsibility for a range of important property transactions, including rent reviews, lease renewals, lease re-gears and new lease agreements. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for tenants across the Council''s mixed commercial estate Lead on Landlord and Tenant matters, including: Rent reviews Lease renewals Lease re-gears and negotiations New lease agreements Work closely with legal advisers to progress lease documentation and complete transactions within agreed timescales Liaise with finance colleagues to ensure rental income, service charges and other payments are accurately recorded Monitor and report on key lease events, including rent reviews, renewals, negotiations and wider estate management activity Monitor property income and expenditure budgets, identifying financial risks and opportunities Key Requirements: MRICS qualification as a Chartered Surveyor Experience working within a local authority or wider public sector property environment Proven experience negotiating rent reviews, lease renewals and new lease transactions Experience managing a mixed-use or mixed commercial property portfolio ..... full job details .....
