Essential Skills Tutor North Wales Salary: £25,704 £27,316Location: North Wales (Home-based)Contract: Full-time, permanentHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 4:30pmAbout the Role We are recruiting for an experienced Essential Skills Tutor to join an established training and education organisation, supporting apprenticeship learners across North Wales.The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to learners throughout their apprenticeship programmes, helping them develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed. You will be responsible for delivering training and assessment against the requirements of the relevant awarding body for Essential Skills Wales, covering Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy.This is a home-based role, with travel required across the North Wales region to support and assess learners in their workplaces.Key Responsibilities Deliver Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy support through workshops and one-to-one sessions. Support learners to achieve Essential Skills qualifications and meet programme framework requirements. Register, conduct and invigilate controlled tasks in accordance with awarding body requirements. Prepare, deliver and assess learning activities, including marking and participation in standardisation events.
