ESOL tutor

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons tailored to learners'' needs and language levels (from beginner to advanced).

• Support learners in developing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

• Prepare materials, activities, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards and learning goals.

• Monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.

• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive learning environment.

• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and cultural backgrounds.

• Collaborate with other tutors, staff, or coordinators as needed.

• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent).

• Experience teaching ESOL or EFL learners in group or one-on-one settings.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills.

• Sensitivity to the needs of learners from diverse backgrounds.
