Overview
ER Case Manager, ER Centralized Case Management Team at Amazon. The ER Case Manager works as part of the ER Centralized Case Management Team to ensure fair and consistent policy application, the best possible associate experience and high quality case documentation and recording. You will hear cases directly – acting as a decision maker in terms of outcome and next steps. The role covers cases that cannot be resolved at site informally, including those raised by associates (e.g., grievance, ethics line or executive escalations) as well as cases of concern about associates (excluding attendance or performance) such as investigation, disciplinary actions and where needed appeal.You will earn the trust of others by forming strong relationships with customers and professional stakeholders (legal/external counsel), enabling you to partner effectively and become a trusted advisor in the field while upholding the highest standards in case management and employee well-being.
Key responsibilities
Company Culture Steward: embody and promote Amazon''s Leadership Principles and ensure dignity and respect are central to every employee relations interaction.Organisational Development and Planning: align ER priorities and actions with key business objectives to drive strategic outcomes.Organisational Health: manage end-to-end employee relations cases, spanning low to high-risk complexity; ensure fair, consistent handling of grievances, disciplinaries, and appeals while maintaining compliance with employment law; analyze ER metrics to identify trends and report insights to leadership; implement targeted solutions through strategic action plans.PXT Operations: leverage HR systems and data to drive informed decision-making; ensure data accuracy through regular audits; identify gaps and recommend improvements; share best practices and maintain accurate reporting for business reviews.Data and Reporting: strengthen case management reporting through data analysis and dashboard development; identify trends to create targeted action plans addressing key ER priorities; collaborate with legal, HR, and other stakeholders; use employee feedback to drive improvement.HR Policy and Practices: maintain legal compliance of HR policies while driving continuous improvement through standardization and best practice sharing; partner with PXT to evaluate, track, and implement policy and process enhancements that simplify people practices.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent post-secondary qualificationExperience in Complex ER Case ManagementExperience in managing multiple disciplinary and grievance casesFluent in both spoken and written English (CEFR C2)
Preferred Qualifications
CIPD qualifiedGood understanding of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel) and HR information systems
