HR Advisor / Employee Relations SpecialistLocation: LiverpoolSalary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experienceWorking arrangements: Hybrid - 3 days in the office Our client, a well-established organisation in Liverpool, is recruiting an HR Advisor / ER Specialist to provide employee relations advice and support across the business. This opportunity would suit an experienced HR Advisor or Employee Relations Advisor who enjoys managing cases, coaching managers and finding practical solutions to workplace issues. The Role: As part of a collaborative People function, you''ll support a varied employee relations caseload and help managers navigate sensitive situations. You''ll combine a sound understanding of HR procedures with an approachable communication style, ensuring matters are handled fairly and consistently. Key Responsibilities: Provide advice on disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management cases. Support cases from initial assessment through to resolution, tracking progress and maintaining clear records. Guide managers through investigations, formal meetings and appeals. Prepare and review case documentation, correspondence and outcome letters. Advise on the application of HR policies and employment legislation. Coordinate occupational health referrals and support return-to-work arrangements. Encourage early intervention and informal resolution where appropriate.
