Environmental Officer Are you an experienced Environmental Officer ready to take ownership of a hands-on, highly visible role in a COMAH-regulated industrial environment? Yolk Recruitment is supporting this recruitment campaign for a position where you''ll lead environmental compliance across site operations, including emissions and drains monitoring, audits and inspections, hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, and the coordination of complex transport shipments across Europe.You''ll act as the key point of contact for environmental regulators, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the business operates safely and sustainably while meeting all regulatory standards.Key responsibilities:Monitoring and maintaining compliance with local, regional, and national environmental legislationActing as the main point of contact with environmental regulators and external agenciesManaging and maintaining environmental permits and licencesLeading environmental audits, inspections, and compliance reviewsIdentifying non-compliance risks and working with internal teams to implement corrective actionsPreparing and submitting accurate environmental reports in line with permit conditionsManaging hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, storage, disposal, and recycling activitiesDriving waste reduction and environmental improvement initiativesDelivering environmental awareness and compliance training to staff and managersSupporting ISO45001 audits, ESOS compliance, EHandS training, ..... full job details .....
