Environmental Officer

CSS Recruitment are looking for an Environmental Officer for Parks and Open Spaces to cover the Castle Point Borough. Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work on-site only. Required for two days per week, the Environmental Officer will need to be able to undertake routine inspections such as Safety Culture inspections and to ensure the provision of high-quality Council-owned land and facilities which are safe to use. Experience required: he Experience You Will Bring Able to work on own Pro-active mindset Full UK Driving Licence Experience in operating and maintaining open spaces and associated facilities, including programmed inspections and equipment audits Experience of working with community groups. Knowledge of and experience in horticultural activities. Knowledge of and experience in enforcing relevant legislation.
