Overview

You will work collaboratively with technical specialists on a broad range of projects, assisting with the co-ordination of Environmental Impacts Assessments and consenting projects and related deliverables. Assisting on the coordination and delivery of environmental work being undertaken by multi-disciplinary teams including EIA, options appraisals and environmental management.Responsibilities

Collate and edit information from a range of sources to provide clear, well written reports.Ensure own work is completed to a high standard, on time and to budget.Support senior management with bid preparation and project management to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on budget and to quality and client expectations.Undertake Continual Professional Development in accordance with requirements of chosen professional institute.Work with flexibility regarding location and working arrangements; AtkinsRéalis supports flexible working arrangements and may accommodate individual requirements.Work from Glasgow at least part time is preferable (as applicable).Qualifications and development

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in an environmental or related discipline and have a good understanding of EIA and consenting.Working towards chartership through IEMA or other professional body. Ongoing career development through training, mentoring and development opportunities.Degree or Masters in an environmental or equivalent science subject. Working toward chartership with a relevant professional body.Experience with EIA and consenting projects across sectors; strong knowledge of the EIA process and collaboration with environmental technical specialists.Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills; ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure; good interpersonal communication.Flexible, adaptable and willing to work from other AtkinsRéalis or client office locations; self-motivated with commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes.About AtkinsRéalis and Benefits
