A high achieving secondary school in Redbridge is looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join their successful team on a permanent basis from September 2026. The school is proud of its commitment to all students'' education, calm and productive learning environments, excellent relationships and strong pastoral care. The ideal candidate will have a “can do” approach and collaborate well with colleagues.

The successful English Teacher will teach KS3 and KS4 English, with the opportunity to teach KS5, as part of a supportive and well-established department. This permanent English Teacher position would suit an ECT or experienced teacher who is passionate about high standards, student progress and celebrating the successes, gifts and talents of curious and enthusiastic students. Any experience teaching Media Studies would be an asset. 

To be considered for this role, you will:

• Hold QTS
• Have a degree in English or a closely related subject
• Have experience teaching English from Year 7 - 11 
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations for student progress
• Be committed to professional learning, collaboration and positive relationships with students and colleagues
• Hold UK Right to Work
