A dynamic secondary school in Milton Keynes is looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team starting September 2025. In this role, you will deliver innovative and stimulating English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop a lasting appreciation for reading, writing, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons tailored to the curriculum
- Adapt instruction to suit a range of learning styles and abilities, ensuring every pupil can succeed
- Track and evaluate student progress, offering timely and targeted support where needed
- Support the enhancement of the English curriculum and contribute to whole-school literacy initiatives
- Foster a supportive and focused classroom environment that promotes high standards and positive behaviour
Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level
- Deep knowledge of English literature and language, with a genuine enthusiasm for the subject
- Effective classroom management and behaviour leadership skills
- A cooperative mindset with a commitment to ongoing professional reflection and development
