Engineering Project Manager

YT Tech is partnering with an established leader in global defence and aerospace technology to recruit a Engineering Project Manager for their Research and Development team. This critical role combines technical oversight, resource management, and hands-on engineering to deliver complex systems solutions. The Role Drive technical performance and configuration baselines for assigned RandD projects. Coordinate cross-functional internal and external engineering resources (suppliers, consultants, CEMs). Participate in hands-on development (systems, electronics, or software) as needed. Manage development schedules, project Kanban boards, and requirements specifications. Line manage and recruit engineering team members, while deputising for the RandD Director. Requirements Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in electronics, software, or systems development. Proven track record of managing and delivering complex RandD projects. Exceptional authoring skills for requirements, design, and test specifications. Skilled in stakeholder management, team leadership, and working in high-pressure environments.
