Engineering Manager

My client is looking for an experienced and proactive Engineering Manager to take full responsibility for their engineering and maintenance function at their North London site. This is a key leadership role where you''ll drive plant reliability, maximise equipment uptime, lead maintenance strategy, and ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational performance across the site.Client DetailsMy client are part of a global business, recently acquired, they''re going through huge growth and now require leadership and stability across their Engineering function.DescriptionLead and develop the engineering department, ensuring high standards of performance and accountability.Manage all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and reactive maintenance activities.Monitor machinery performance and implement solutions to minimise downtime.Work closely with Production teams to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal operational disruption.Lead daily, weekly, and monthly engineering inspections and maintenance programmes.Manage engineering spares, inventory, and supplier relationships.Oversee installation, commissioning, and performance reviews of plant and equipment.Support site improvement projects and future capital investment initiatives.Manage external contractors and audit workmanship standards.Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, safe systems of work, COSHH requirements, and company policies.Conduct and support risk assessments, ..... full job details .....
