The business is looking for a hands-on engineering leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, supporting engineers, solving problems and driving improvements, rather than managing purely from an office.Role DescriptionLead and develop the engineering and maintenance teamDrive Health and Safety standards and engineering best practiceSupport engineers with technical issues, fault finding and breakdownsDevelop training programmes and apprenticeship schemesManage engineering budgets, projects and capital expenditureMonitor engineering KPIs and site performanceDevelop and improve the CMMS systemDrive Continuous Improvement and reliability initiativesWork closely with production and senior leadership teamsSkills and QualificationsMinimum 5 years'' experience in a Senior/Engineering leadership role within manufacturingProven experience leading and developing engineering teamsStrong maintenance and reliability backgroundComfortable providing hands-on technical support when requiredExperience with CMMS development and maintenance systemsContinuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing experienceProject management experienceIOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification beneficialCompany InformationMy client is a market-leading ..... full job details .....
