Engineering Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established engineering business to recruit an Engineering Manager to lead and develop a multi-skilled workshop team. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, responsible for overseeing refurbishment and repair projects from initial assessment through to machining, fabrication, assembly and final testing. The successful candidate will combine strong mechanical engineering knowledge with the ability to coordinate people, resources and projects effectively. The Role Reporting into the wider engineering function, you will co-manage the workshop alongside the Workshop Manager, providing technical direction across a team of Machinists, Mechanical Fitters and Stores personnel. The workshop operates a broad range of heavy engineering equipment, including horizontal and vertical borers, CNC lathes, milling machines and balancing equipment. You will take ownership of incoming repair and refurbishment projects, assessing equipment, developing appropriate repair strategies and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
