Engineering Manager Bedford, Up to 85,000 Monday to Friday, Days We''re working with a well-established manufacturing business in Bedford who are looking to appoint an Engineering Manager to lead and develop their site engineering and maintenance function. This is a senior, high autonomy role where you''ll have the opportunity to shape the engineering strategy, develop the team and drive improvements across a busy 24/7 manufacturing site.The roleYou''ll take overall responsibility for the engineering and maintenance function, working closely with Operations, Technical, HR and other departments to improve reliability, compliance and overall site performance.Key responsibilities include:Leading, coaching and developing the Engineering teamManaging all planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across the siteDeveloping the maintenance strategy to improve plant reliability and reduce downtimeDriving a proactive culture around continuous improvement, RCA and asset reliabilityManaging engineering KPI''s including reactive vs proactive maintenance, downtime, top losses and labour utilisationEnsuring all maintenance systems, processes and statutory requirements are maintainedManaging engineering stores and ensuring critical spares are availableManaging departmental budgets and expenditureSupporting and delivering capital projects and continuous improvement initiativesWorking closely with other site functions to ensure engineering supports operational performanceMaintaining a ..... full job details .....
