Engineering GeologistGloucester Full-time 30,000 - 35,000We''re working with an established ground engineering consultancy who are looking to add an Engineering Geologist to their team in Gloucester.This is a great opportunity for an Engineering Geologist looking to build on their site and consultancy experience, working on a variety of interesting ground investigation and geotechnical projects across the region.The roleYou''ll be involved in projects from initial ground investigation through to reporting and interpretation, with a good mix of office and site-based work.Your responsibilities will include:Planning and managing ground investigationsLogging soils and rocks in accordance with current standardsSupervising site investigations and working with drilling contractorsProducing factual and interpretative ground investigation reportsReviewing and interpreting ground investigation dataUndertaking geotechnical assessments and calculationsAssisting with geotechnical and environmental assessmentsLiaising with clients, contractors and other project teamsWorking across a range of residential, commercial and infrastructure projectsWhat we''re looking forWe''re looking for an Engineering Geologist with some practical experience who is keen to continue developing their technical skills.Ideally, you''ll have:A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related subjectPrevious experience within ground investigation or geotechnical consultancyExperience with ground investigation, ..... full job details .....
