An Employment Solicitor is sought by a top national law firm for its Leeds office, offering a salary of up to £85,000 depending on experience. This full-time role requires a qualified solicitor with at least four years’ PQE. The position involves advising on employee relations matters such as discipline, grievance, redundancy, restructuring, TUPE, and discrimination. Responsibilities include drafting contracts, policies, and settlement agreements, as well as providing employment law support on corporate transactions. Acting as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base from SMEs to public sector bodies, the role also encompasses representation in Employment Tribunal proceedings.

THE ROLE:
• Advise clients on employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes, redundancy, restructuring, TUPE, and discrimination
• Draft and review contracts of employment, service agreements, policies, COT3s, and settlement agreements
• Provide employment law support on corporate transactions
• Act as a trusted advisor to a wide-ranging client base, from SMEs to large public bodies
• Represent clients in Employment Tribunals
• Play an active role in client relationship management, business development and networking activities
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Employment Solicitors with a minimum of 4 years experience
• Passionate about delivering clear, commercial legal advice
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing their own caseload
• A strong communicator, able to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike
• Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in business development and growing client relationships
• Advocacy experience
