Employment Advisor Employability Advisor Career Coach Employment Support Welfare to Work Location: Workington, Cumbria Salary: £26,988 per annum Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available Role Overview We are recruiting a motivated and people-focused Employment Advisor to join a busy and supportive employability team in Workington. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who enjoys helping others achieve their goals and would like to build a career within employability, welfare-to-work, recruitment, customer service, education, community support or related sectors. As an Employment Advisor, you will provide one-to-one support to individuals seeking employment, helping them identify opportunities, overcome barriers and take positive steps towards sustainable work. You will develop personalised action plans, deliver employability support and build strong relationships with local employers and community partners to create opportunities for participants. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong transferable skills. Previous employability experience is beneficial but not essential. If you have experience in customer-facing roles, recruitment, sales, coaching, education, social care, housing, health and wellbeing, community support or similar environments, we would love to hear from you.
