Electronics Technician
Job title: Electronics TechnicianSalary: 26,000 - 30,000 + 20% shift uplift ( 31,200 - 36,000)Location: DoverHours: Monday to Friday, rotating between early and late shifts, with an early finish on FridaysKey responsibilities would be:Test PCB assemblies in line with established test procedures and specifications.Carry out the testing, inspection, repair and rework of PCB assemblies.Identify and diagnose faults at both component and board level.Carry out component replacement, soldering and desoldering.Repair minor PCB tracks and soldered connections.Use Computer Aided Repair systems to accurately record and log faults.Use a range of test and diagnostic equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes.Read and interpret circuit schematics, PCB layouts and technical drawings.Investigate root causes of faults and support the implementation of corrective actions.Experience and skills required:Previous experience working within an electronics manufacturingPrevious experience with soldering and PCB rework is desirableGood understanding of basic electronics principles and an interest in electronicsGood computer literacy and the ability to accurately record technical informationStrong manual dexterity and attention to detailA methodical approach to fault finding and problem solvingIf you have hands-on experience repairing electronics, computers, phones or similar equipment as a hobby - we would encourage you to apply.Benefits:25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysAdditional day ..... full job details .....
