Electrician

RGSS''s client, a leading maintenance provider, are looking for a reliable, "Electrician" to join their team across Stratford upon Avon and nearby areas and the surrounding areas.

• Role- Electrician
• Location- Stratford upon Avon and nearby areas- Mobile role
• Start- Asap
• Salary- -40K base + 5% Bonus paid every march pro rata = -42,000 + Company Van and Fuel card and a Generous paying ON CALL Rota (Approx. 1 week in every 5-6 weeks) which is -100 for the week + -50 per call out.

The Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a permanent Electrician to join us on our responsive repairs and maintenance team. This will be covering a patch of social housing properties across Stratford upon Avon and surrounding areas, therefore travel will be part of this role and a full UK driving licence is essential.

The core working hours are Monday to Friday Start at 8.00am-4:30pm

The Customer

Over 17,000 properties across Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Nuneaton, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Bedford. We have multiple workstreams, including Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and Re-Roofing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Electrician''s duties and responsibilities will include the following:

• Taking ownership of work, aiming for ''First time Fix'' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.
• Carry out all aspects of maintenance and repairs on all electrical engineering services as required, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of Supervision.
• Installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations
• Installation, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and have the ability to fill in correctly, the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report
• Carry out EICRs and remedial upgrades to properties.
• Provide excellent customer service to both tenants and clients.

What you will need

Essential criteria:

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical (2356) with AM2 portfolio to support your experience (not just EAL)

This can be a combination of C&G 2360 Part 1&2 Electrotechnical Competences plus the NVQ 3 Certificate 2356 with Technical Certs L2&3 plus the NVQ 3 Certificate or just the NVQ 3 2356 certificate

• C&G 18th Edition Certificate
• Full UK driving license with less than 6 points and no recent driving bans
• Must be able to pass a Basic DBS Check
