Electrician

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs and maintenance industry.

An established property services contractor is looking for a fully qualified Electrician to join their team working across South West London. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with an initial 3-month temporary period before moving onto a permanent contract. The role offers stability, a company van and the opportunity to work on a long-term social housing/property maintenance contract.

The Role:

• Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and remedial works within residential properties
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults and complete reactive maintenance repairs
• Undertake electrical installation and maintenance works as required
• Carry out works within occupied and void properties
• Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in line with current electrical regulations
• Complete accurate job records and relevant certification where required
• Work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Participate in an optional out-of-hours call-out rota

What We''re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation – essential
• AM2 – essential
• Experience working within social housing, responsive repairs, property maintenance or a similar environment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Good understanding of electrical regulations and health and safety procedures
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check
• Previous experience within residential property maintenance
