Electrical Technician

Electrical Technician | Day Shift | Monday - Friday-

Up to just under -45k plus overtime-

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting their longstanding client with the appointment of an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join them on a permanent basis.-

You will be working as part of a problem-solving engineering team who are repsonsible for the preventative maintenance, inspection, fault-finding and repair of cranes & mobile plant assets.-

You will be required to respond to breakdowns and failures using problem solving techniques to return equipment back into service within tight timescales.-

Skills Required-

• Electromechanical devices such as solenoids, thrusters and actuators.
• Electric motors and drivetrains, both AC and DC up to 400kW.
• Power electronics converters such as inverters and rectifiers.
• Motor control methods soft start, direct online, variable speed drives, resistance banks and thyristors.
• Switching devices including relays, contactors, circuit breakers and proximity switches.
• 5+ years experience working within heavy industries-
• HNC or time served route-
• Previous maintnenace experience is essential-
