Electrical Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major construction project in Northamptonshire on an initial 6-month contract basis.

Working with a leading contractor, you will play a key role in overseeing electrical installation works on a large-scale project, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and programme deadlines.

As Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating electrical installation teams on site, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity targets are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising electrical installation works across the project.
• Coordinating subcontractors and electrical operatives on site.
• Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered in line with project programmes.
• Conducting quality inspections and ensuring installations meet required standards.
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Reviewing and implementing RAMS and permit systems.
• Liaising with Project Managers, Site Managers, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Identifying and resolving site issues to maintain project momentum.
• Maintaining accurate site records and reporting on progress.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Proven experience working as an Electrical Supervisor on large construction, commercial, industrial, or M&E projects.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations and site supervision.
• Experience managing electrical subcontractors and direct labour.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A proactive approach to health, safety, and quality management.

• Competitive day rate of -290 - -320 per day.
• Payment available via CIS or PAYE.
• Initial 6-month contract.
