Electrical Project Manager
Our client, a prominent player in the Power Utilities sector, is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team based in Scotland. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work with 11kv/33kv systems across diverse and innovative projects including EV, battery storage, and solar energy, catering to commercial and industrial developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the management and execution of electrical projects involving 11kv and 33kv systems
- Coordinating with commercial and industrial clients, ensuring their requirements are met efficiently and effectively
- Ensuring all projects comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders, fostering strong professional relationships
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues promptly
- Providing technical input and guidance to the project team
- Ensuring health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
Job Requirements:
- Experience in the ICP (Independent Connection Provider) sector
- Comprehensive understanding of project management principles within the power utilities industry
- Proven expertise in working with 33kv and 11kv systems
- Awareness of Civil Engineering / Streetworks projects (NRSWA, HSG47, CDM Regs)
- Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Relevant engineering or project management qualification
