Electrical Project Design Engineer

Role- Electrical Project Design Engineer Salary- 45,000 - 55,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise) Type- Permanent Location- Leicestershire My client work within engineering and they are looking to take on an experienced Electrical Project Design Engineer to develop as part of their team. The Electrical Design Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City and Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical EngineeringHave previous experience carrying out electrical designHave knowledge of how PLC systems workProficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan or SolidWorks ElectricalExperience of working in heavy engineering sectors such as Mining, Nuclear, Energy, Rail, Power Plant or similarExcellent problem solving capabilitiesPrevious wiring and fault finding experience would be idealHave experience of working with different electrical test equipmentGood project skills and the ability to work to deadlinesBe able to work well individually as well as part of a teamHave excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenFull Driving LicenceThe Electrical Design Engineer role will involve:Working within the existing multi-disciplinary engineering teamProducing detailed design specifications for control systemsTesting electrical control panelsProducing test specifications as requiredLiaising directly with customers as part of the projectsDeveloping control system ..... full job details .....
