About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable
Electrical Installation Lecturer
to join our teaching team. You will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to students on electrical installation courses (Levels 1-3 and apprenticeships), inspiring them to reach their full potential with both practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons in electrical installation (theory and practical)Teach across Levels 1-3 and apprenticeships, including adult learnersPlan, prepare, and assess learning materials in line with awarding body standards (City and Guilds, EAL)Provide constructive feedback, academic support, and pastoral guidanceEnsure teaching meets quality standards, safeguarding, and health and safety requirementsKeep up to date with industry regulations and teaching practices (e.g. BS 7671 Wiring Regulations)Contribute to curriculum planning, course development, and quality improvementParticipate in staff meetings, professional development, and QA activitiesMaintain accurate student records, progress tracking, and assessment documentationEssential Requirements
Enhanced DBS clearanceRecognised
Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation
