Electrical Engineer

We''re working with a well-established, fast-paced FMCG manufacturer seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their site engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, supporting continuous improvement, and working with modern processing and packing equipment.The RoleAs an Engineer, you''ll support the smooth running of production by carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance across a busy manufacturing site. You''ll work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on production machineryDeliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdownsSupport the installation and commissioning of new equipmentWork collaboratively with operators and production teams to identify and resolve issuesEnsure minimal disruption to production during maintenance activitiesMaintain accurate records of repairs, breakdowns, and installationsLiaise effectively with external contractorsCarry out routine inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety and food industry standardsContribute to continuous improvement and site projectsAbout YouExperience working with electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of motors, VFDs, PLCs, and planned maintenance systems (Desirable)Completed an apprenticeship or equivalent engineering ..... full job details .....
