Electrical Bias Engineer Wrexham 47,500 Basic Salary 4 on 4 off - 12-hour Days and Nights A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Bias Engineer to join a busy, highly automated manufacturing operation in Wrexham. This is a hands-on engineering role working as part of an established engineering team, maintaining and improving automated production machinery and helping to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime. The role will suit an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background and experience working within manufacturing, production, FMCG, packaging or another high-volume industrial environment. The Role You will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of automated production equipment, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding and breakdown response. Key responsibilities include: Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults on automated production machinery Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance Fault finding across control systems, motors, sensors, drives and associated equipment Working with PLC-controlled and automated machinery Working with control panels, contactors, relays, inverters and variable speed drives Carrying out electrical testing, repairs and component replacement Supporting machinery modifications, improvements and continuous improvement activity Working alongside Production to minimise downtime Completing ..... full job details .....
