Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract) Location: London (Hybrid 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home) Rate: £50-55 per hour - outside IR35 Limited Company! We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a specialist engineering team on a 12-month fixed-term contract with hydrid working available. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging single point mooring (SPM) projects supporting FPSO and FSO facilities within the oil and gas sector. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical engineering documentation, supporting vendors and site teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review Ex equipment datasheets. Develop and maintain electrical load lists. Perform cable sizing and voltage drop calculations. Prepare and review specifications for electrical equipment and LV switchboards. Review vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications. Liaise with equipment vendors throughout the project lifecycle. Provide technical support and interface with site teams where required. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Around 5+ years'' experience in electrical engineering (applications from more experienced engineers are welcome).
