On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet''s vital power needs we are looking for a Electrical Design Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Solihull Hyrbid.

Job description - the role

As a Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Design and optimisation of electrical power systems to meet customer''s requirements.
• Development and verification of a wider range of electrical equipment
• Support to manufacture and test of electrical products.
• Providing technical solutions that meet the customer, business and regulatory requirements.
• Representing the Project/Company to customers, suppliers and operators as necessary.

What we require from the Electrical Design Engineer:

• Strong electrical background.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in the electrical field with experience in electrical design techniques.
• Experience in electrical power equipment specification would be advantageous.
• Demonstrable aptitude for problem solving.
• A track record of delivery in project engineering.
• Excellent communication/influencing skills.
