Electrical Commissioning Engineer

OverviewWe are seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to work on-site in the field, primarily outside of London and in the surrounding Home Counties.

The position offers a basic salary ranging from 44,000 to 53,000, plus overtime. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM, with the expectation of working one Saturday each calendar month.

Responsibilities

Commissioning, setting to work, and witnessing the installation of lighting control systems.

Provide on-site and off-site aftercare services to ensure that the lighting control systems are maintained at a high level of operation for various projects, both historical and current, that vary in technical complexity.

Enable specifiers, installers, and users of lighting controls to utilize our extensive network for various purposes.

Support the company\''s complete service for clients, from pre-commissioning and CAD to on-site commissioning, all managed by our in-house technical experts.

Qualifications

18th Edition Electrician certification (preferred)

Understanding of DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface)

Valid ECS/CSCS card (required for site access)

Knowledge and experience in configuring routers, gateways, and user interfaces for IP networks

Experience with headend installations for lighting control systems

Ability to assess and integrate the best combination of products and services for clients\'' lighting control systems

Experience in testing, commissioning, and handing over systems to ensure they meet the required operational standards

Experience in routine preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure systems remain operational over time
