BMS Installation, Service & Commissioning Engineer

BMS Engineers – Commissioning & Service - up to £330 per day - Immediate Start

Mploy Group are partnering with a leading building technologies company who are expanding their team and looking to hire skilled BMS specialists.

Whether your background is more focused on installation & commissioning of new systems or on service, maintenance & fault-finding, there’s a place for you. You’ll be joining a forward-thinking business working with the latest technologies across multiple sectors, including commercial offices, healthcare, and education.

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your background and skills, you may be involved in:

• Installing BMS controllers, sensors, and HVAC devices.

• Commissioning new BMS systems, writing strategies, and developing graphics.

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and system servicing.

• Diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and completing software/hardware updates.

• Supporting small works projects and system upgrades.

• Liaising directly with clients, providing advice and technical support.

• Producing reports, site backups, and handover documentation.

• Always working to the highest health & safety standards.

Experience & Skills

We’re looking for BMS Engineers with a range of skills – so if you have experience in any of the following areas, we want to hear from you:

• Installation and/or commissioning of BMS & control systems.

• Servicing and fault-finding on BMS equipment.

• Strong knowledge of Trend (essential); Distech and Tridium desirable.

• Familiarity with integration protocols (BACnet, Modbus, M-Bus, LoRaWAN).

• Ability to create and test control strategies and graphics (for commissioning roles).

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (for service roles).

• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. manufacturer training, electrical, or controls).

• Full UK driving licence required.
