The Electrical Assembler role in Stroud is a permanent position offering an annual salary between £28,000 and £34,000. The successful candidate will follow routings, record test measurements, and report non-conformances. Key responsibilities include soldering, crimping, and general wiring, with a focus on detecting workmanship issues in precision harsh environment electronics. The role requires performing calculations for diagnostic operations, including ratios, percentages, and weights. Familiarity with test and build equipment, calculators, and computers is essential. IPC certification (IPC 620 or J-Std) is preferred, alongside an appreciation of Lean and 5S improvement methods. The role also involves independent self-assessments to identify process enhancements.

Electronic Assembler required to follow routings, record test measurements and report any non-conformances.
Key Skills
Commercial experience of Soldering, crimping and general wiring skills, as well as detecting workmanship issues of precision harsh environment electronics equipment and processes.
Calculation for diagnostic operations, compute ratio and rate, percentage, fractions and ratios, and calculate weights and measures.
Calculator, computer and related equipment knowledge.
Electronics Test and build equipment experience.
Safety equipment as required
The idea candidate will be IPC certified (IPC 620 and J-Std preferred)
Lean and 5S improvement appreciation. Independent performance of self-assessments to develop insight into improvements.
