About the Role
An Electrical Assembler is required in Stonehouse on a permanent basis, with a salary between £28,000 and £32,000 per annum. The role involves following detailed routings, recording test measurements, and reporting any non-conformances encountered during assembly. Candidates must possess commercial experience in soldering, crimping, and general wiring, alongside an ability to detect workmanship issues in precision electronics for harsh environments. Diagnostic calculations, including ratios, percentages, fractions, and weights and measures, form part of the daily tasks. IPC certification (620 and J-Std preferred) is ideal, along with an appreciation for Lean and 5S principles. The successful applicant will independently perform self-assessments to identify and implement improvements.

Key Skills

Calculation for diagnostic operations, compute ratio and rate, percentage, fractions and ratios, and calculate weights and measures.
The idea candidate will be IPC certified (IPC 620 and J-Std preferred)
Lean and 5S improvement appreciation. Independent performance of self-assessments to develop insight into improvements.
