Electrical Architect

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit an Electrical Architect on an initial 6 - month contract. As the Electrical Architect you will be responsible in all aspects of missile development, from the early concept studies to series production and in-service supportRole: Electrical Architect Pay: 60 - 85 per hour Umbrella Location: Stevenage, Bristol or Bolton Contract: Monday- Friday, 37 Hours per week, 6 Months Contract IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: SC will be required however can start on BPSSEssential Responsibilities Own the electrical architecture and requirements for missile/launcher systems.Define interfaces between subsystems (ICDs, characteristics, constraints).Build the power architecture (budgets, profiles, distribution).Define data comms/processing architecture and system interconnects.Set EMC, bonding, grounding, screening and signal safety requirements.Support integration, test, compatibility checks, qualification and fault-finding.Produce/review technical reports, processes, and guidelines.Perform design assessments and analysis to support compliance and safety.Work to defence/industry standards and support design reviews. Essential Experience Degree-level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).Demonstrable experience in electrical/electronic engineering within complex engineered systems.Experience defining and managing system requirements (systems engineering ..... full job details .....
