Electrical Architect

MERITUS are recruiting for an Electrical Architect to join our client in an intial 6 month contract to support sovereign defence programmes as the business continues to scale. ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC ARCHITECT - INSIDE IR35 - £80 - 6 MONTHS - UNDERGO SC - STEVENAGE (BRISTOL ALSO CONSIDERED) - MUST HAVE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE - SECTOR: DEFENCE You will be responsible for the electrical architecture and requirements for missiles and/or their associated launcher systems with duties including: Specifying/determining system electrical requirements interface definitions and characteristics between subsystems/equipment power architecture, including power budget and power profiles data communication and processing architecture requirements for EMC, bonding, grounding and screening signal safety, including routing of safety related signals Supporting test and fault-finding activities during compatibility checks, risk reduction, system proving/qualification and integration Reviewing and authoring reports, guidelines and processes Design assessments and analysis Working to defence/industry standards Attending and supporting design reviews Alternatively, acting as the Equipment Manager (RMO) for specific electrical/electronic equipment(s) that are part of a missile or launcher system you will: Project manage the equipment(s) on behalf of the project during development, qualification and manufacture Own the requirements on behalf of the project for the equipment(s) ..... full job details .....
